✦ Not tied to a fixed bank list

## Verified accuracy, published per bank — never a blanket claim.

FinToBooks reads the statement, not the logo. Verified banks below carry a measured accuracy figure from real golden-sample statements — and because the engine isn't tied to a fixed list, it also handles most other text-based statements. Reconciliation tells you whether it read yours correctly, either way.

### Structured data is created — and that's the source of truth

The statement becomes a compact structured record: transactions, counterparties, categories, confidence. Any file you export from it (Excel, Tally XML, etc.) is kept for 30 days so you can re-download it, then auto-deletes.

SOCIAL PROOF, HONESTLY

## We'd rather show you nothing than testimonials we wrote ourselves.

Real quotes from real CAs will sit here once there are some worth showing. Until then the honest answer is to run it on your own statements and judge the reconciliation for yourself — it either matches the closing balance or it doesn't.

FAQ

## Questions a careful accountant asks first

- Almost certainly. Verified banks have a published accuracy figure from our golden-sample suite; everything else runs through the generic parser, which reads most text-based statements. Either way the reconciliation tells you whether the result is trustworthy — you're never guessing.

- Processing pauses and you're offered ₹199/month per +100 credits/month or an upgrade. Never a silent failure halfway through an upload.

- Statement passwords are used once, in memory, and never written to a log or database. Raw PDFs are deleted after processing — only structured transaction data is retained, for a retention window you control and can shorten to 30 days.

- Lower than on a native-text PDF, and we tell you which one produced your result rather than quoting a single blanket accuracy number. Scans cost 2 credits/page and photos 3, because that's what they genuinely cost to process reliably.

- Gateway of Tally → Import Data → XML. Vouchers arrive pre-classified as Payment, Receipt or Contra, and any ledger missing from your company is included as a master-creation entry in the same file, so the import completes in one pass.

- Yes. Your plan stays active to the end of the current billing period, and the grace-period behaviour is explained plainly at the point of cancellation, not buried in terms.

SOCIAL PROOF, HONESTLY## We'd rather show you nothing than testimonials we wrote ourselves.

Real quotes from real CAs will sit here once there are some worth showing. Until then the honest answer is to run it on your own statements and judge the reconciliation for yourself — it either matches the closing balance or it doesn't.

FAQ## Questions a careful accountant asks first

- ### Will it work with my bank?+

Almost certainly. Verified banks have a published accuracy figure from our golden-sample suite; everything else runs through the generic parser, which reads most text-based statements. Either way the reconciliation tells you whether the result is trustworthy — you're never guessing.

- ### What happens if I go over my credits?+

Processing pauses and you're offered ₹199/month per +100 credits/month or an upgrade. Never a silent failure halfway through an upload.

- ### Is my clients' data safe?+

Statement passwords are used once, in memory, and never written to a log or database. Raw PDFs are deleted after processing — only structured transaction data is retained, for a retention window you control and can shorten to 30 days.

- ### How accurate is it on a scanned statement or a photo?+

Lower than on a native-text PDF, and we tell you which one produced your result rather than quoting a single blanket accuracy number. Scans cost 2 credits/page and photos 3, because that's what they genuinely cost to process reliably.

- ### How do I import into Tally?+

Gateway of Tally → Import Data → XML. Vouchers arrive pre-classified as Payment, Receipt or Contra, and any ledger missing from your company is included as a master-creation entry in the same file, so the import completes in one pass.

- ### Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Your plan stays active to the end of the current billing period, and the grace-period behaviour is explained plainly at the point of cancellation, not buried in terms.

Verified banks have a published accuracy figure from our golden-sample suite; everything else runs through the generic parser, which reads most text-based statements. Either way the reconciliation tells you whether the result is trustworthy — you're never guessing.\n\n- Processing pauses and you're offered ₹199/month per +100 credits/month or an upgrade. Never a silent failure halfway through an upload.\n\n- Statement passwords are used once, in memory, and never written to a log or database. Raw PDFs are deleted after processing — only structured transaction data is retained, for a retention window you control and can shorten to 30 days.\n\n- Lower than on a native-text PDF, and we tell you which one produced your result rather than quoting a single blanket accuracy number. Scans cost 2 credits/page and photos 3, because that's what they genuinely cost to process reliably.\n\n- Gateway of Tally → Import Data → XML. Vouchers arrive pre-classified as Payment, Receipt or Contra, and any ledger missing from your company is included as a master-creation entry in the same file, so the import completes in one pass.\n\n- Yes. Your plan stays active to the end of the current billing period, and the grace-period behaviour is explained plainly at the point of cancellation, not buried in terms.\n\n## Stop entering transactions. Start reviewing them.\n\nDrop in a statement and see it reconciled before your chai gets cold. No signup for the first one.\n",

Until then the honest answer is to run it on your own statements and judge the reconciliation for yourself — it either matches the closing balance or it doesn't.\n\n[Try it on your own statement](https://fintobooks.com/banks/hdfc)\n\nFAQ## Questions a careful accountant asks first\n\n- ### Will it work with my bank?+\n\n Almost certainly. Verified banks have a published accuracy figure from our golden-sample suite; everything else runs through the generic parser, which reads most text-based statements. Either way the reconciliation tells you whether the result is trustworthy — you're never guessing.\n\n- ### What happens if I go over my credits?+\n\n Processing pauses and you're offered ₹199/month per +100 credits/month or an upgrade. Never a silent failure halfway through an upload.\n\n- ### Is my clients' data safe?+\n\n Statement passwords are used once, in memory, and never written to a log or database. Raw PDFs are deleted after processing — only structured transaction data is retained, for a retention window you control and can shorten to 30 days.\n\n- ### How accurate is it on a scanned statement or a photo?+\n\n Lower than on a native-text PDF, and we tell you which one produced your result rather than quoting a single blanket accuracy number. Scans cost 2 credits/page and photos 3, because that's what they genuinely cost to process reliably.\n\n- ### How do I import into Tally?+\n\n Gateway of Tally → Import Data → XML. Vouchers arrive pre-classified as Payment, Receipt or Contra, and any ledger missing from your company is included as a master-creation entry in the same file, so the import completes in one pass.\n\n- ### Can I cancel anytime?+\n\n Yes. Your plan stays active to the end of the current billing period, and the grace-period behaviour is explained plainly at the point of cancellation, not buried in terms.\n\n## Stop entering transactions. Start reviewing them.\n\nDrop in a statement and see it reconciled before your chai gets cold. No signup for the first one.\n\n[Convert your first statement free](https://fintobooks.com/convert)[See pricing](https://fintobooks.com/#pricing)\n\nWe use analytics cookies to understand how FinToBooks is used and improve the product.
